surf: Look into a better way of handling the width AXIS buses.

       512-bit was barely usable in XSIM (and unusable in VCS) when looking at the bits on the bus.  Just increasing all AXIS bus to 1024 will make things worse.  We need a better way of handling the width AXIS buses (example: maybe via a VHDL 2008 method)
